I need a shower…

I stink like poo.

久しぶりですね?

(I know for a fact that I haven’t mentioned this. My parents have recently bought a house and my absence from this blog was due to the moving occurred a few days ago. So, I’ve been very busy, running around with my parents buying stuff from garbage bags to new furniture, to blinds and to bathroom hardware… I’m so tired and so exhausted…)

It feels like such a long time since I’ve written in here, everything happened so fast the last couple of days. I told myself that I would write all my adventures, if you could call them that, down, but now thinking back on it, I would never remember every little thing that I had wanted to write.

Well, my grandparents arrived at 5:16 AM this morning, and, being the night owl that I am, slept at 3:45, thinking that I’ll have to get up at 5:30 because I wasn’t exactly sure when their plane was supposed to land. So when my mom woke me up at 4:20, and since I didn’t have a time device in my room yet, I didn’t know what time it was, the only thing I could think of was ‘I feel like I haven’t slept at all…’

Anyway, after we all ate some food, and called my aunt in China and my uncle in Texas, everyone went to go take a nap, including my dad, who chose to take the morning off work.

AT&T was supposed to come some time between 8-5pm today, and Mattress Shop was supposed to come to deliver the extra firm mattress we ordered yesterday some time after 1pm today. So, this leaves close to none windows of opportunity for shopping (clothes hangers, food, and bedding). So, while I slept from 8:30am to 1pm, my mom was awake the whole time… =_=;;.

I got some gifts too. Man, I actually don’t know if I should thank them or not. First of all, normal people in the United States do not dress as well as normal people in China. In China, it is normal for almost every girl on the street to wear dresses and skirts, but that is like the polar opposite in the States. Anyhow, they got me one dress (which, if I was a little bit less conservative, I would wear), an atheletic top, a whole atheletic outfit (are they trying to send some subliminal messages here?), and killer Stiletto heels! Which I love to bits, but is slightly waaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too dressy to wear on a regular basis.

Let’s fast forward. AT&T came and set up the phone line, and the mattress guys delivered the mattress, and, surprise surprise, it passed my grandfather’s inspection of its firmness.

Fast forwarding more here… My dad set up the computer and I connected the internet. So now!!! I’m on my laptop, which is no longer MIA (hooray!!!), and typing this post. Checking my email, and due to my inactivity on the internet, I have now accumulated 104 (it was 105 before I read one of them) new emails, which 25 of them I’ll have to read and reply to. I’m excited, but also dreading it, because I know that would take literally hours to do, and since I have to wake up early tomorrow and help my grandparents make breakfast. *sigh*

Little bits…
1. It’s the first time I’ve heard Kokoro in 3 or 4 days, and I feel so alive because that song is just lovely, awesome, and energetic; I hope you guys liked it too =).
2. My mom invited some of her co-workers and friends over for a day awhile ago, and I played some of the songs I recorded including Jay Chou’s 发如雪 and JJ Lin’s 木乃伊. The second she recognized my voice, she said she wanted me to burn her a copy of my songs. Which surprised me, because although I hold my singing in high pride, I don’t actually think I’m that great of a singer. And she heard the best 发如雪 out of the three tries, so after I let her hear more I thought she probably doesn’t want it anymore. So, on the day of the move, I was really shocked when she told me she still wanted that CD. Makes me think, should I actually let aka persuade Misaki to listen to it after all?
3. I can’t wait to see the episodes of First Kiss that I’ve missed this past week.
4. I think I might go to New York City and Washington, D.C. with my grandparents.
5. I rode in a Chrysler Crossfire!!! It was really really cool. One of my father’s co-workers is leasing it right now, and I sat in the passenger seat while he drove from the old apartment to the new house, and looking up to a clear blue sky on the highway while listening to hitomi’s theme for Last Exile, Over the Sky was a really wonderful experience <3.
6. I think, both of my parents are slightly apprehensive of my grandparents. Let’s just hope this visit will not result in any emotional casualties…

Now… I will go tackle my emails.!
I want to say hi to my friends who are reading this blog and hope they’re okay because I’ve been busy and haven’t been responding to any emails. Sorry and I hope you’re all okay and happy.

周杰伦的千里之外

I’ve got an almost obsessive love for the song 千里之外 by Jay Chou. I love love love love love love love love it. It is a really good song. I hope you’ll listen to it…!!!

Mixed Emotions

Title for #9 of projects, not yet uploaded on Golden-Wings, but it is my favorite of the nine.

“… I could never compare my problems to yours, but they’re mine. Nothing’s ever easy.” - Daniel Meade.

1. I hope you’re okay.

2. I wonder how you’re doing. You haven’t been replying to my emails. Are you okay?

3. I wonder how she’s doing too. I hope she hasn’t lost faith in me.

4. I hope she’s also well in TO. Haven’t talked to her in a long time.

“Be strong, believe in yourself, and never lose hope.”

Michelle is a 18 year-old university student who had just finished dinner. Alex is her 8 year-old energetic brother.

Michelle: I need to stay up until 12 because not everything has digested yet.
Alex: I know what you can do to stay up ’til 12. Do you wanna know?
Michelle: Sure..
Alex: Come to my room. No wait — Lily’s room. I keep on mistaking it.

Introducing… James Severus Potter!!

I feel like I haven’t been writing about my real life lately. The reason being that Alex and Michelle have come visit because their father went to England for a few days and they mom has to work in Detroit and she can’t go back to London every night. So, they’ve joined me for a few days.

The other day, we all went to IKEA to look at furniture and house equipment. We bought a wooden puppet because Alex wanted one. But it’s really really flexible (except the legs..) and really attractive to play with so when my mom brought it up to the cashier, I said to my mom, “Let’s buy you one too!”. And then when we set him up on the conveyor belt, I put him down and flattened him, I said, “Look! He’s dead.”. And then we all fell down laughing. Alex then adjusted its stance so that one of his arms pointed forwards and the other arm above his head, and we made the first arm pointed towards the cashier guy… We’re all laughing like hyenas right now, but the guy behind the machine didn’t notice. He didn’t even register us trying so hard not to burst out laughing… xDD..

When we got home, I named him James Severus Potter. However, judging by the amount of times we’ve played with his limbs, I think James Severus Potter will break by the time Alex and Michelle leaves.

Now for those who were sharp enough to notice the wordplay on the picture, good job. It happened on our way back from Somerset the day before the IKEA trip, when Alex said, “Avada Kedavra!” behind me and I, with my horrendous hearing, mistakened it like everything else, and said in curiosity “I bought a Kedavra?”. Michelle, who mis-heard that, laughed and said, “I bought a cadaver!?”. So it goes…

Yesterday, we went swimming and played Marco Polo in the water with two neighbors I’ve never met before. It was all really fun.

In other recent news, www.iijpop.com has changed its url to www.jpopii.com. Which means, I need to update my Favorites sidebar. They’ve also got a new layout, which looks really weird on Firefox, but looks perfect on Internet Explorer… Arg… That irritates me slightly.

As a last thing for this post, I will embed a PV for a long awaited single released TOMORROW!!!!!

(Sadly, tuition’s also due tomorrow T____T;;)

Radio exercise?

OMG!!!
LISTEN TO THIS.
or
DOWNLOAD THIS.
OMG!!! SHOWTA.!!! OMG!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!

Out of curiosity, I pressed the Online button on www.iijpop.com (which has a really cool new layout). And it is a Chinese online radio about Jpop, maybe some Cpop too, I’m not very sure. I’m also not sure if iChris is the DJ but I just heard the introduction with lots of different Cpop intruduction (whom I’ve never heard of) and Jpop including Ito Yuna, Otsuka Ai, Koda Kumi, and when I just started typing this post, SHOWTA. came up, so I hope you can guess my excitement.

This broadcast features いきものがかり (Ikimonogakari). I hope you guys enjoy it~~~

I’m absolutely excited =).

Third time’s a _____?

So I’ve failed my driver’s test in Canada twice already and today I’ve just done my driver’s test in the States. And I passed..!!!

So now I can drive!! Yay.

My dad said that whenever I drive too fast or make a mistake while practicing, he is scared half to death. So now that I have my certificate, he says it might as well be his symbol of death.

I watched more than first half of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire yesterday. I couldn’t finish because I had to go and practice driving. I made some interesting jokes about Harry Potter yesterday. However I’m too excited to begin a project I just had an idea for, I’ll save them for later.

Lots of love,
<3s-tei.

You Raise Me Up.

You Raise Me Up

I might just burn a whole CD filled only with different versions of this song.

Randomly random.

I mentioned a rotten banana smell before. I think it’s the smell of wet pine pieces outside the apartment.

You probably think I have no life other than writing in my blog, because I never seem to run out of things to write about…
