Hanazakari no Kimitachi e raws @ d-addicts.com

It’s 12 episodes! *gasp* And! The last episode is an hour and 33 minutes long..!! O___O;;. Geh, based on my experiences with the manga, it probably should be very long for the ending to be played out well. I still remember being sour about that scene in the last episode that I watched… Geh, stupid of me, however it’s not why I stopped it though, but I’m just slightly irritated about that.

I’ll elaborate later; I don’t have the manga scans nor the episode at hand.

In other news (I think this is overused), the Original Soundtrack of First Kiss was released yesterday so I’m looking forward to it being posted somewhere..!

.. of some sort, and moving twice in the last month have made me realize just how much I like collecting. I dislike throwing this away, and I love collecting interesting things. Namely, funny and hilarious writing pieces by people I know, from my friends, from books I like and/or from dramas, etc.

One that I just stumbled up while going through my backpack, was Yin’s My Life as πr², which I believe was written for her writer’s portfolio back in grade 12. I would love to post it, but I don’t think she would let me. Another, would be Ms. Zieba and Yin’s Stream of Consciousness back in grade 11. Somewhere, I also have Marina’s post about her 17th’s birthday, which I have stated in her blog that it was my favorite blog post. I’m sure there are many more, for example I probably have Scott’s letter to Stephanie back in grade 10. It was from a long time ago. I also have my grade 10 career project about Graphic Design somewhere. And, I’m sure of this because I still haven’t thrown it away, pieces of random paper with scribbled notes between me and Chen when we both attended night math in grade 10. Also probably some notes between me and Xin when we would distract each other in Biology in grade 12. Ah, the memories. There are so much where that comes from, some that I don’t think are suitable to mention due to private reasons, but whenever I dig them up, I would think back to the memories I made with those people, and I wish I could still have that chance again, to spend time with them. It would be wonderful and awesome <3.

In other news, I’m thinking of transferring to Wordpress. I’ve already contacted Marina, but I’m not sure if she has received the email yet. We’ll have to see.

Lily, over and out.

This week is Clubs Week at Western and it always seem like a big event because the amount of people gathered at UCC (University Community Center). This year I was pretty hesitant on joining JSA (Japanese Student Association) because I had a bad impression of CSA (Chinese Student Association) last year because of how fob and fake the Execs were. Nevertheless, I actually had the courage to go check out JSA’s booth at UCC.

Some Exec burnt a CD of recent Jpop releases including the opening song and ending song of Hanazakari to Kimitachi he by ORANGE RANGE and Otsuka Ai respectively. Others include the B-side to Otsuka Ai’s Peach and miss you by m-flo loves melody.. I asked Anderson (I think that’s his name) if I can have a copy and he said, “If you sign up.” So I did, not only for the CD though; I wanted to meet Ishida Shoji, the president of JSA. I talked to Anderson and asked him about Kentaro. All of last year during Japanese class I just thought his name was Ken, and not Kentaro. Anderson told me it was because Kentaro didn’t wanted people to call him Kenta-ro the English-way.

Anyway, I decided during the summer that I would join the UWO Choir, however when I went up to the booth, the person behind the booth said the entrance fee is 40$. I was like… “T____T It’s so expensive.” I didn’t join, though I’m still thinking about it. If I do join, I’m definitely getting a job to earn that 40$ back. I’m definitely not doing Marching Band though.

Lulu and Chen have somehow “persuaded” me into going for Internal Executive for the Canadian Cancer Society, which is what Yin did last year. I’m not really interested in it, but I just didn’t want to disappoint them by not going for it.

I joined Pre-Education Society too. I hope it’s worth the money.

I also joined WAVE. WAVE is the abbreviation for Western Anime Video Explosion, and I met Mary there, who also lived at Delaware last year that I met through Wen and Yin. I realized recently, that although I didn’t really make a lot of friends last year, I have so much more opportunity because I know a lot of people by name, and there are big opportunities to get to know them better. I just hope I can be a little more outgoing this year.

I met Aaron at UCC. He said I lived far from campus when I told him where I lived. It was good to see people you lived with last year. *sigh* I miss Deli =(.

In other very off-topic news…
I’ve been quite curious about Himitsu no Hanazono, and I started it, but stopped myself going too far into the story because I wanted to finish all the dramas that I said I would finish.. This is the list:

1. Hanazakari no Kimitachi he
2. Bambino
3. Proposal Daisakusen
4. 1 Litre of Tears
5. Liar Game

Long list I know. I always get very unmotivated to continue the series when I don’t have the episodes on hand, which is why I would prefer to watch everything together at once. Which is surprising, because since I discovered First Kiss, I’ve been pretty loyal at watching the week-by-week episodes uploaded on d-addicts.com. This week is the last week of the 2007 Fall Drama season in Japan, and the raw version of the last episode of First Kiss has been uploaded on d-addicts.com. Hopefully, by the time I wake up tomorrow morning, the torrent would have finished and I’ll be able to see it when I get home from school.

I spent about 70$ today. I spent a total of 30$ on Clubs (10$ - JSA; 10$ - Pre-Ed; 5$ - CCS; 5$ WAVE), and if I join Choir, then I would have spent 70$ altogether for Clubs alone. I went shopping at the dollar store and I also bought a plastic dresser at Wal-Mart.

I have my first physics lab tomorrow afternoon, but I still have to read the manual… *sigh*

The new GARNET CROW single will be released on November 14th, 2007. “Sekai wa Mawaru to iu Keredo” will be the (100000th) new ending song for Detective Conan.

Looking forward to it =).

この曲はとても美しい歌だから、大好きです。聞いてください。私はこの曲を聴いている時はとても幸せそうな気持ちを感じられます。素敵な気持ちだ。私は川澄綾子に感謝します。

本当に美しい音ですね。大好き。

I love this piece because it’s a really beautiful song. Please listen to it. When I’m listening to this song, I get a somewhat happy feeling inside. It’s a very nice feeling. I am thankful for Kawasumi Ayako.

It’s a really beautiful sound isn’t it? I love it.

Maybe it’s because I suck at translating, but my sentences seem very elementary in English.

… To You is the opening theme for the anime called Piano. I haven’t seen it; it doesn’t look all that good to me, but I really like this song. Go here and search for “to you”, for the music sheet <3.

I tend to “practice” typing/writing in Japanese once in awhile on my blog, so to help you understand my blurbs of multilingualism, I suggest going to Jim Breen’s WWWJDIC Server for translation. I know I’m slightly show-offy (when am I not show-offy though?), but I just want you to understand my Japanese blurbs…

In other news, I forgot to buy birthday cards at Wal-Mart yesterday.

Physics 279y is a no-credit seminar course specifically for undergraduate students in The Department of Physics and Astronomy. It is supposed to be in an informal environment where upper-year students and Physics Professors talk about possible careers and new scientific topics.

Being the introvert that I am, I really was not looking forward to this because I was expecting showing up, participating actively and discussing our “opinions”, therefore, I was very apprehensive when I walked into the room. There was actually a lot of people in the room, I was surprised. But later on, I realized why; it was a combination of second, third and fourth years in the Department. I felt somewhat out of place, because there was only one other Asian person in the whole room; the rest are probably all at North Campus, the infamous building usually associated with everything Biology.

Five minutes into the “lecture”, I was no longer nervous. The course overview just talked about the schedule of the Seminars and expectations of the students. Some scheduled seminar topics were high school physics education, climate change, eye physics, the X-15 Rocket Plane, microgravity science, paper physics, gender issues in science, and something most probably along the lines of condensed matter, surface science, and/or ion scattering. I think the topic that raised my eyebrows, and consequently raised my excitement, was paper physics. Never before have I heard that term before. At Michelle’s later, I wiki’d it and there was no result. So then I googled it, apparently it had to do with the material that is used for paper, types of fibers and everything along those lines. (There was stuff about NMR and lots of other Spectroscopy language that I don’t understand.)

And, the last schedule seminar topic was my guess, because the presenter is Lyudmila Goncharova (on the overview, her name is misspelt as Goncherova), who is my Professor for Physics 208. I was actually looking forward to it because her area of research was quite interesting.

Moreover, supposedly the school is forcing every professor to put Western’s Plagiarism Policy in every course outline in every first lecture of the year/semester, the lecturer in charge said, “No cheating, because there’s really no way you can cheat in this course.” There was an universal chuckle and some laughters. However, you have to pass this course, and the only way to do that is if you skip less than three classes each semester.

In other words, this is completely a bird course, except it wasn’t about birds. Felix Lee commented in the first Chemistry 213A lecture that the course wasn’t a bird course, but also added there was one, it was actually about birds. Heh.

After the last scheduled seminar, the last time scheduled for class was November 29th, and there will be a end-of-term party. Interesting.

Then we were asked to fill out a questionnaire, asking us about the kind of thing we expect from this course, I almost froze in my seat right there. I didn’t know what I wanted, so I was quite nervous on getting the questionnaire to be passed to me, when I got it and read some questions, I almost freaked, because some of the questions were very specific and I’ve actually never thought about them. I looked at the top of the questionnaire, it said, “Name (optional): _______.” I was quite relieved, so I just wrote my initials.

I really need a cellphone.

I saw Madagascar at Michelle’s house today, it was pretty fun. Her parents also gave me some fruits =). I’m very thankful when they asked me over for dinner because I wouldn’t have known what to eat for dinner.. *lol*

I love Chen and Lulu. They’re quite fun to talk to and I wish to talk to them more…

Good night Super Princess Kaylie <3.
