Again.

Came home at 3 in the morning. Bad idea for a school night. I have no idea how I stayed awake during all my classes this morning.

Anyway, I have used the numbers in the binders now, and I was the only person in that room due to the fact that you can’t sing Chinese songs in that room, so I basically went down the list and typed in every song that I knew and more or less stretched my vocal chords as far as they go. I was so sleepy and tired after 1:30am that I couldn’t keep my eyes open and just sung by memory…

The list of songs I sang… OMG it was really cool.. I got really excited when each song came on lool. Even Chen said I was pretty high… hahaha.

It’s a radio!
And, I made it!!! loool… It’s the last physics lab of this semester and we all got Radio kits that had a 9V battery, a tuning capacitor, a couple of resistors and capacitors and one amplifier. It was really fun and we learnt solder too! Really cool. Currently at home, there’s only one station that can be received on it, but it’s still cool!!! I showed to Jeff and Chen already, and I will definitely show it to Lulu when she comes home lool.

But it’s a radio and you can actually hear it… So cool!

I have this thing similar to Ron Weasley in that whenever I’m under pressure (or embarrassed), I can feel my ears heat up. That happened the minute I realized that, today wasn’t actually Chinen Yuuri’s birthday, it was someone else’s that had some sort of relation to Chinen. Therefore, I need to make an apology, to the one person who reads my blog who really cares.

Sorry!!! ごめんなさい！本当にごめんなさい！！T_T　恥ずかしかった。You must be really really disappointed.

Anyway, although I might never get over the fact that I messed up the birthday of her favorite person, I still have to celebrate the birthday of her favorite person’s favorite person. That favorite person is Ohno Satoshi~~! (See? If it’s Ohno’s birthday then it could also be Chinen’s birthday.)

I don’t really know how to go about this.

I’ve been wanting to write something along these lines ever since Marina posted about her birthday in July. At the time I thought I probably won’t feel as loved as she did. Now, I still don’t know if I’m as loved as she is, because, it’s so hard to compare the gifts and the thoughts you’ve received for your birthday. I doubt I would ever know.

1. Birthday wishes.
- The first hour after midnight was the best. Pei, Jason, Yin and Marina were all on my GTalk, which was blinking like crazy, and I didn’t even have time to surf the internet.
- There were a total of 24 people who wished me happy birfday on Facebook, one was a day late, one was two days early. It took me 40 minutes to reply to them all.

2. Gifts and whatnot.
- Marina’s Graffiti on my Facebook wall, her blog post, and something else I don’t know yet.
- Pei’s two drawings: one featuring Tegoshi Yuuya whom I told her to draw for me, another was Tegoshi Yuuya, Chinen Yuri and the members of Arashi. They’re both posted on my wall along with my two favorite pictures of Inoue Mao and Matsumoto Jun. The best part of it was, she had Tegoshi sit on the Katakana リ (ri) and drew ‘x2′ in block letters beside it. lool.
- Two cakes: One from my parents who came here to visit and to celebrate my birthday, another from Lulu.

- Went to see Superbad with Anne. It was a very comedic movie in that, it was filled with stupid humor (think Pink Panther with Beyoncé and Steve Martin) and not witty humor. Also had the chance to watch 3 Will & Grace episodes with her earlier at night.
- Went to Star Karaoke. I was really looking forward to it, but it was not as fun as I thought it would be. But!! But!! There were these three huge-ass binders that had all these Korean songs at first glance and what number they corresponded to. I took the time to look closely into it and found that it actually had a pretty impressive and decent J-pop section. Some of the songs that lifted my eyebrows were Happiness by Arashi (I would’ve gone crazy and semi-demanded to get to sing it if I liked it even a bit more than I actually do), Hey! Say! by Hey! Say! 7 (someone’s fangirling right now lool), Yuki no Hana by Nakashima Mika, Kimi ni Shika Kikoenai by DREAMS COME TRUE, and a bunch of others I can’t remember. However, the songs were pretty good and I actually got really really excited!!! Unfortunately, when I asked someone how to get the songs in the books, they told me that in order to input those songs, you had to change the system, and so, I was afraid that the system would be in Korean due to the fact that the whole binder was filled with Korean, so I didn’t really experiment with the whole computer and the machines. The songs that I sang were 发如雪 by 周杰伦, 我们的爱 by F.I.R., 坚持到底 by 阿杜, 江南 by 林俊杰 among others I can’t remember. Overall, it was pretty good.

3. Overall reflections.
I haven’t had a birthday party in *counts fingers* six years due to the fact that someone got hurt the last time I held a party and I just didn’t want the hassle. I have to say that the first hour after midnight was the best, that’s what ‘The truth’ was referring to. It was the first time I had felt loved in a long time. (On the bus on the way home though, I actually realized in that 24 hours from midnight to midnight, I didn’t drink a single drop of ethanol! I got to drink some today, but I didn’t really like it.) Thanks to everyone that wished me a happy birfday <3.

Jason suggested I take up reading, so I went to the library yesterday and borrowed Haruki Murakami’s (I keep on typing Haruhi lool) short story collection. It’s been some time since I’ve read his writing, so I haven’t been sucked into his literary world in awhile. But I love his way of writing and how he wrote about the process of writing short stories versus the process of writing a novel. I actually agree with him, which makes me want to try writing some one-shot fanfictions. Haha.

I’m listening to Jay Chou’s Blue and White, it’s almost like Jpop because I have no idea what he’s singing about, though the melody is beautiful enough.
