Lovin’ you and Love in the Ice are my favorite recently released songs by Touhoushinki (as a side note, if you have Facebook, go check out the Graffiti I drew on Marina’s wall *lol*). I’ve been putting off recording them because I know somehow I would manage to mess it up. I finally had some bravado today after my classes were done to try Lovin’ you. Now, I have to admit that I do not like Lovin’ you that much, just a bit I guess, not enough for me to go <3 <3 <3 over. That’s why I never paid attention to what the boys were singing about, even when I understood some Japanese. When I checked up the Japanese lyrics to Lovin’ you, my heart just cracked. The lyrics were so sad…

I would love to try translating the lyrics for the song, but after reading an already translated version of the lyrics, I reconsidered the thought because the bittersweet meanings of the words were lost in translation. Which sucks, because the lyrics were so wonderful.

(I almost considered writing a Japanese 101 blog post just so my readers would understand it without me having to translate it, but then I don’t really have that kind of time.)

I just want you to know, and especially the two DBSK fans who reads my blog, that the lyrics of Lovin’ you are to die for. Second to Jay Chou’s FARUXUE and Oda Kazumasa’s tashika na koto.

the facebook drawing is cute. Mickey’s head doesn’t quite connect together - it has an extra lump in it too! Xiah looks the best there. Yunho gets points for being red though.

    haha.

Things like lyrics can only be the most beautiful in the language they were written in. And as such, I probably won’t get it.
