The story behind “Rest in Pieces”:

It was during grade 12 chemistry, when Mr. Bontront accidentally dropped a piece of calcium carbonate, chalk in layman terms, onto the floor. He said to the damaged pieces “rest in pieces”. I didn’t understand his pun until Andy Kong, who sat behind me at the time paid attention to it and said it was funny. Now I think it’s probably one of the most ingenious jokes ever made.
