I’ve finished the first verse and chorus. It doesn’t sound that bad, though my rapping is nowhere near as cool as Yaotome Hikaru’s T_T. It sounds really flat, and it’s neither bouncy nor exciting =(.

I should’ve checked this yesterday, but I was too absorbed in the difficult task I mentioned in my last post. So, this is a day late.

I’ve gotten my hands on almost everything I listed that was scheduled to be released, including Hey! Say! JUMP’s Ultra Music Power, GARNET CROW’s Sekai wa Mawaru to Iu Keredo and UVERworld’s Ukiyo CROSSING. I’m looking at the ORICON charts now, and the first one’s Hey! Say! JUMP’s Ultra Music Power, 2nd is L’arc~en~Ciel’s Hurry Xmas, 3rd is UVERworld’s Ukiyo CROSSING, 4th is Touhoushinki’s Forever Love, 5th is NEWS’ weeeek, 6th is a song by someone I don’t know, 7th is Hito by GReeeeN, 8th is Aoku Yasashiku by Kobukuro, 9th is Tabatachi no Asa by Mr.Children, and 10th is GARNET CROW’s Sekai wa Mawaru to Iu Keredo!!!

Which made me wonder, GARNET CROW is kind of an obscure band. I mean, they’re well-known and popular enough, but they hardly do any lives nor any promotions on TV which explains why their career got a slow start. I went to the Japanese Wikipedia and just as I’ve read before, the highest ORICON chart ranked single is Yume Mita Ato de, which was the 14th ending of Detective Conan. The highest ranking it received on the ORICON chart was the 6th place. Which pisses me off to some extent ’cause I want to know what place Sekai wa Mawaru to Iu Keredo peaked at yesterday. But it probably wasn’t any higher than 6th place; Yume Mita Ato de will probably hold the highest selling single of GARNET CROW’s history for awhile. Googling it, I found out that the single did peak at 10th place. Interesting. Can anyone confirm?

Sekai wa Mawaru to Iu Keredo is the best single GARNET CROW’s released in awhile. Ever since Maboroshi, which was released more than a year ago, I’ve been quite disappointed because none of the singles, including THE TWILIGHT VALLEY last October, have been up to my expectations. Sekai wa Mawaru to Iu Keredo is one of the best melodies Nakamura has come up with, probably 2nd to only Kimi to Iu Hikari.

I’m looking forward to their next work. I hope it’s an album <3.

It’s quite difficult but it’s so much fun. I can’t wait until the final product <3 <3 <3.
