… why I prefer CD’s over mp3’s is that I can listen to it in the car while I’m driving. It’s the only reason why having an iPod is not such a great thing.
Anyway, Marnie, that Permalilnk problem is gone. It works like it should now, but I didn’t do anything to it. Who knows why.

You are such a doofus. There are hundreds of accessories for iPod, and about a hundred of them are designed to allow you to play it in your car.

It’s called an auxiliary cable. All modern cars have the jack.
Or.. you could just use CD’s in the car, and iPod outside. I don’t see why you can’t use both.

Or you get an FM transmitter, it transmits radio signals to your car. On ebay, it’s about $10 with shipping.
