I just finished it. It was really good. The last three episodes were awesome and very intense, almost hard to believe that the first episode and the last episode are part of the same series. I’m really glad I finally decided to watch this show. The cast was great and the storyline was awesome too. There are a bunch of really good secrets hidden in this “garden”. I hope you’ll give it a try sometime.

It’s 12 episodes! *gasp* And! The last episode is an hour and 33 minutes long..!! O___O;;. Geh, based on my experiences with the manga, it probably should be very long for the ending to be played out well. I still remember being sour about that scene in the last episode that I watched… Geh, stupid of me, however it’s not why I stopped it though, but I’m just slightly irritated about that.
I’ll elaborate later; I don’t have the manga scans nor the episode at hand.
In other news (I think this is overused), the Original Soundtrack of First Kiss was released yesterday so I’m looking forward to it being posted somewhere..!

I feel that Inoue Mao is a better at acting than Matsumoto Jun is. I’ve watched the episodes of First Kiss that I hadn’t seen before with subs and just saw animated gifs of Hana Yori Dango. I tried to find what episode it was from and while watching Hana Yori Dango, in my mind I’m comparing the different main character in the two dramas that were portrayed by Inoue Mao, and the difference is striking. While Makino Tsukushi is pleasant, indecisive, and normal, Fukunaga Mio is spoilt, selfish, and quick-minded. I cannot believe that they are the same person in real life, the difference is stunning. Often, when you watch 2 or 3 dramas with the same actors and actresses in it, you begin to notice the characteristics and personality of the actor/actress with it. This usually happens with Matsumotot Jun, Yamashita Tomohisa (though not as often as Matsumoto Jun), Narimiya Hiroki, and Horikita Maki. However, when I watch First Kiss and then watch Hana Yori Dango, I feel that the main characters are completely two different people. Of course, the wardrobe plays a big part in this situation, but Inoue Mao’s expressions and body language is totally different in comparison between the two. I’m not sure if anyone else agrees with me or not because I haven’t been wandering in d-addicts lately.
There comes a time, when I feel very disconnected with the world and when people you want most to understand misunderstands, to doubt yourself and the meaning of life. It is a very lonely feeling.
Today is August 8th of 2007 and it is exactly a year before the Olympic Games begin in Beijing. So I just want to mention this fact because I saw a really cool commercial on TV today about it.

I couldn’t find the exact one I saw on TV, probably because it’s so new. But during the the time that I searched on YouTube, I also found out that a lot of people are thinking about and are planning to boycott the Olympic Games. Which really sucks because I don’t think I’m old enough to remember when the last time China has hosted the Games was, so I think it’s a great chance for China to display it’s originality and awesomeness, even if it is sort of old-school sometimes. To be honest, the reasons for boycotting are reasonable and oftentimes rational. But I don’t think looking at the negatives is going to help. Beijing 2008 has been decided and it’s not going to change, especially when there’s only exactly one year left. I think that it’ll be a great event and I’m just really looking forward to it. I hope that anybody who is going to the Games in a year’s time will have fun especially if it’s your first time there, because it’s just a great place to visit and get to know.
So apparently there’s a Soundtrack and a BUNCH of stars from Mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan (I’m not sure if this is true or not, it’s just my guess) recorded this song above. I can’t say I love the song, but it’s okay I guess. It’s so like China to come up with something like this. Their style never changes. I hope just try something new for a change. It’s kind of getting boring…
In other news, I’ve gone back and started to watch 1 Litre of Tears, which is based on a real story. It’s known to be one of the most well-known tear-jerker in Japanese drama. But I haven’t cried a single tear yet and I’m already at episode 5. And why have I finally began watching one of the most well-known drama? I decided that I was going to record the song Only Human, which is the ending theme for 1 Litre of Tears, again for the 2nd time. However, when I was ready, I didn’t feel sad enough to bring out the sorrow in the song, so I began watching episode three, and then recorded it. For some reason Audacity took like 30 minutes to export the mp3, so I just watched episode four, and now I’m on episode 5.
I was looking for the English translation for the song too, and somehow had stumbled upon this blog. It’s a blog of a fan of the drama series and is translating the real blog that Kitou Aya, the person that 1 Litre of Tears was based on, kept when she had the disease. I left a mental note to myself that I will read it after I finish the series. Then, I realized that she had radio.blog on her side bar… And I’m like ?!?!?!?!? So now, I just discovered I need to get radio.blog hosted on some other site first… Which is why I have Adobe Photoshop 7.0 opened, with no picture yet to start with…
On the other hand, I got an idea for the Wang Leehom wallpaper I still need to make, the one that I’ve already started four times. I will hopefully begin in a couple of days.
Coming back from Crate&Barrel to look at furniture for the new house, my face swelled with the worst pimples, zits and acnes.. It is better now after some rest.
I am currently in the middle of chapter four of Harry Potter and the Death Hallows, and I’m at the computer to post on my blog? Why you ask? When I have such a gripping book to read?
For some reason I put on the NOIR blanc dans NOIR album from Noir by Kajiura Yuki and for some weird reason the first song on shuffle was ‘love’ by See-saw. It was such a sad song and I just couldn’t keep on reading HP7 because I was so afraid Harry would die. I guess I just didn’t want it to end that way. So I’ve holding out as long as I can before going back to the book. Which is stupid, because that’s exactly how I got the cruel spoilers about the Half-Blood Prince last time. But still, the music is making me even more sentimental than usual…
So, onto other issues. Let’s share a photograph.

My uncle called me last night and we talked about the latest Harry Potter movie in Chinese. And he told me he ordered me a copy of the new Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I was shocked, because I had already ordered a copy for myself. So, when I said I’ll send it back to his address, he said he’ll just go out and buy it tomorrow. So now I’m stuck with an extra copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I have a couple of ideas what to do with it. Here they are:
1. Return my original copy to Amazon. Get money back and buy some textbooks for next year.
2. Give it to a friend who needs it.
3. Donate it to the library.
4. Keep it.
Choice #4 is definitely out of the question; I would just feel extremely guilty and un-deserving. But choice #1 probably is the most reasonable choice. At least I’m using his money correctly now. I’ve always used his Christmas money on Amazon to buy stuff that I don’t really need, ie. manga. So maybe I’ll use it to its advantage.
Let’s digress from Potter mania.
I started reading this lullaby again the day before yesterday, and I just had to stop because of the new book I got today. I’ve been wanting to write about this ever since I got back from Misaki’s house less than a week ago. So while I read this lullaby again, I realized just how much impact Dexter had on Remy, and how much she changed by meeting him. I feel that now that I’ve gone back and read stuff for the 2nd or maybe even the third time I feel like I can appreciate it more. It happened while at Misaki’s too. It was the 4th time I’ve seen Nobuta. wo Produce with someone else. The first time was with Phil, the second time was with my cousin back in China, the third time was with Amy and the latest time was with Misaki. Every time I notice just in which places the actress of Aoi was. And I also remember what parts each one find funny, what parts that they thought was weird and amusing, which parts they were confused about and how I had to explain it. Just this last time, I realized how Shuji, Akira and Nobuta were a lot like Harry, Ron and Hermione respectfully. Except the fact that Ron got the girl and Akira didn’t. Okay, I feel that I’ve begun rambling and not much of this post makes sense… Sorry.
Last thing before I go back to reading. I found a line very interesting while I was reading this lullaby. On page 175, halfway down, the line was the first line of the paragraph. It said, “It was July 15.” And so, I found this really funny and coincidental. Hehe.
I’ve gotta RANT!! I saw episode one of Hanazakari to Kimitachi he (aka Hana Kimi) today. It was GREAT. Really awesome and seriously addictive.
This is probably the only thing that bothered me about the show: ALMOST EVERY SCENE is CG’ed. It’s so bad because it means you couldn’t find that many real locations for filming. That just looks so fake. Reminds me of Hana Yori Dango season 2 opening, seriously overdone.
OGURI SHUN IS REALLY HOT!!! Ohmygackt, he looks TOO good in white. And the subtitle for the show is ikemen paradaisu, which more or less translates to paradise of hunks. See the following for proof:

This show reminds me of Happy Boys. Too many boys and not enough girls.
Horikita Maki’s great in this show. Better than Kurosagi. I loved her voice, so harsh yet so girly!!!! And Ikuta Toma’s great as Nakatsu. I actually can’t pick which Nakatsu I liked better: Jiro’s or Toma’s. hehe. Ikuta Toma actually looks like Jiro Wang xDD. Okay, well only from some angles… AND THEN..!! ISHIGAKI YUMA’s playing Tennouji Megumi. OMG! I haven’t seen Ishigaki Yuma since that episode of HanaDan 2 where he played Hinata Sara’s fiancee. What’s so weird is that Drama Wiki doesn’t list him for that role and someone else. Uhhh…
Okay, totally fangirling here.
I recorded myself singing Pikanchi Double twice today. It was fun and I actually got vibrato (where Riidaa sings his solo ^_____^)~!!!! Yay! I’ll upload it later (Edit: here it is!) for you to listen to. I also tried Hug by DBSK and Aozora Pedaru, but they didn’t sound well.
I started reading Arashi fanfics today. I found them on arashian.com and started reading. They’re okay. I’m on my second one right now. It’s pretty cool, because I won’t be able to write anything like that because I don’t know them enough to write fictional stories about them.
I saw the AnAn scans of MatsuJun’s naked shots. It shocked me. Ionno. It just does. I’m sad that he did that. I’m also shocked, because it’s just such a revelation.. I don’t make sense, don’t bother trying to comprehend.
I didn’t try to find a job today. I’m pathetic.
I’m hungry.
I Googled how to make good wallpapers, and read some tips that I think will come in handy some time. I just might have to restart that WLH wallpaper… YET AGAIN… This is really driving me nuts.
I started translations for Happy Boys the day before yesterday, but I didn’t touch it again today. It’s really difficult, because little things that you aren’t sure how to say in English can totally make your hair go grey. What makes it worse is that there’s this line that doesn’t make sense in the original Chinese subtitles. I don’t know what to make of it. T_T;;.
I need to get the latest Bambino and Liar Game episodes. I’m getting behind.
