It’s a radio!
And, I made it!!! loool… It’s the last physics lab of this semester and we all got Radio kits that had a 9V battery, a tuning capacitor, a couple of resistors and capacitors and one amplifier. It was really fun and we learnt solder too! Really cool. Currently at home, there’s only one station that can be received on it, but it’s still cool!!! I showed to Jeff and Chen already, and I will definitely show it to Lulu when she comes home lool.

But it’s a radio and you can actually hear it… So cool!

Professor Eugene Wong is my Physics 201a professor. He is Cantonese and has a very distinct Cantonese accent. Whenever he says “power source”, it always sound like he’s saying “power sauce”.

In times like this, I don’t know what to say. There are a bunch of things that I want and could say, but those strands of thought have not been organized nor polished yet, so if I say it, it’ll either end up being a jumble of words in Japanese, English and Chinese, or the words will be in different formulation that won’t make sense.

Regarding the last post. There is no way to guess it. Actually, the only other people who could guess the person either 1) don’t read this blog or 2) don’t know this blog exists.

I think the best person to learn from with respect to love experiences could be Jason. I know this could be hard to believe, but I feel that it’s true.

I think there’s a song in the middle of composition right now. I’ve been humming melodies all over and trying not to forget until I get home to record it with no success these past couple of days.

Maybe from now on, I’ll live at the library two of the five weekdays, but don’t quote me. I go back on my word a lot.

When I woke up, I started reading chat logs between me and Marina on Gmail, and felt nostalgic. And while we’re talking about Marina, I felt that lately I’ve been better at the game Marina and I hope to improve as time goes.

I think I’ll be going home next weekend.

I might go to StarKaraoke tomorrow, dunno if this is still going on or not.

I’m watching Proposal Daisakusen. It’s a really good show and if I could, I’d force Marina to see it, because she will definitely like it.

Today is Sunday. In three weeks and less than a day will be the 24th, and I don’t know if I’m looking forward to it, or dreading it. I don’t really know what will happen.

I’ve checked my Mid-Year Exam schedule. Turns out, I have five exams on five consecutive days: December 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th. How great is that I ask you? There’s only one good thing about this exam schedule I suppose: I get to go home quite early because the December exam schedule ends on the 19th.

I miss having “ningen kankei” lol. I wanna go shopping…

It really is. This past week, it’s been nothing except work, school and midterms. I had my Chemistry midterm tonight, so I’m gonna have a one-day weekend tomorrow. Yay.

I have to read my chemistry lab, and hope to God that I’ll finish this one. I need to start and finish my Physics 208 assignment which is due on Tuesday. I also need to start on my Physics 259 lab, which is a formal lab report. The professor and the TAs were kind enough to extend the due date to Tuesday after the Tuesday coming-up, but it sucks because we have a lab this coming week for 259 too, so there will be two labs due next next Tuesday. School’s wonderful isn’t it?

I really want to sleep, but I feel so unsatisfied!!! T_____T;;.

Marina’s really good at the things she does.

I watched the first episode of Tantei Gakuen Q with Jeff. I told him the name is ‘Detective Academy Q’ and that the main character’s name is Kyuu. He said, “So it’s not L?”

LOL. People can be very interesting sometimes.

Physics midterm tomorrow. Totally not ready. I’ve been in Weldon for the past ah hour and a half and I have to go to work at 6, which means I have to leave at 5:15-ish so I won’t be late. I’ll be back home around 11, and I have to sleep early…

It’s so hard not to.

I woke up later than I planned. I was supposed to wake up at 9:30, but ended up waking up around 10, when I was supposed to be at AMC’s to study for Chemistry midterm on Saturday. I got there at 11, which was an hour later than I said I would. However, to my relief, she was still in bed, so I didn’t feel as bad. So, I slept for an hour until 12 in her bed. Hehe.

We did some chemistry stuff and I finished the chapter questions for Chapter 1, but the midterm is for the first 5 chapters in the textbook, so I’ll really have to work hard. Maybe I’ll just read my notes, and whatever I’m not sure of I’ll do the questions for, that’ll save some time I need to study for Physics which is the day before Chemistry.

I came home at 4, and didn’t do anything very productive. I actually cannot remember when I did then, probably tried my best to tackle my physics assignment due tomorrow at noon to no avail.

I actually went to bed at 2:30, but just as I was falling asleep, my door creaks open and I got really really scared, probably as scared as Chen if that were to happen to her, so I got up and stayed up until 3:30, then went to sleep.

Some time around 8 maybe? I don’t remember. Chen comes in my room, and climbs into my bed, and fell asleep. I didn’t mind, because she slept in my bed the other day too. In the morning, I woke up at 11:30, when I was really supposed to wake up at 9:30 to work on my Physics assignment and asked her why she slept in my bed this morning. She said she had a dream about ghosts and got scared. She added, “Having roommates is a good thing.”

Then, the toilet accident happened. I was supposed to leave with Shirley at 1:50-ish for her orchestra concert. But I had a bathroom to clean so I told her to go first, and thinking that the concert started at 3:30, I would just leave an hour later than she would. She had to be there at 2:30, and the bus only goes one way, not the other way, so I had to take the really long bus ride that basically went the other way around the big block first before going toward the direction of the school. I was really bored, so I called Marina on the way, we talked for awhile before hanging up. She probably thought the fact that I called her was weird and strange perfectly normal.

I got to the concert at 3:15-ish. I entered the auditorium and apparently the concert had already started. They were in the middle of a song with a vocalist, and the girl who sang had a very sonorous voice and was obviously very accomplished as a singer. Very interesting.

If I had come on time, then I would’ve paid $5, but in return I would be able to tell you exactly what song they played cause I would have been able to get the program. *sigh*

I couldn’t see Shirley, because she told me to sit far in the back, I did. But the chair I sat in kept on squeaking whenever I moved, so this one guy kept on looking at me like I was weird, because I got very sleepy somewhere in the middle of the whole performance.

After the performance, I went to the back (not backstage, just the back, behind the Acoustic Shells) and saw her and asked her whether if she was late or not. She said she wasn’t, which was great, because I couldn’t see her from where I sat and got worried that she didn’t get on the right bus because of the confusing directions to the bus stop – you have to get on the wrong direction in order to get to the school.

Supposedly, AMC was supposed to come over to study for Chemistry, but she said she wasn’t feeling well, so I felt relieved because I was afraid of how the toilet situation was at home. I visited her for 25 minutes anyways, and then I got a call from Shirley saying she wanted to go home. Due to my inability to read the bus schedule correctly, we had to wait for an extra 20 minutes in the cold. Finally we got on the bus and was heading home.

She came to pick up some chocolate, and I gave her a quarter of a bucket of chocolate. I think she was surprised.

I am now trying to finish my physics assignment, while listening to my “album”. Tracklist:
